Each month at Pro Kids | The First Tee of San Diego, we like to spotlight one young member from each of our two facilities in City Heights and Oceanside due to their exceptional performance and dedication to our programs. We’re proud to present our “Members of the Month” for March 2018 — congratulations!
City Heights: Johnny
Our Pro Kids Member of the Month for March is Johnny! Johnny signed up to become a member less than a year ago and has taken to the program extremely well. He was initially quiet and timid, but since his progression to Level 3 and joining the PGA Junior League team, he has come out of his shell. Recently, he was invited to join the Academy Program and has been consistently attending Pro Kids two-to-three times a week. All of these experiences have contributed to Johnny’s growth and character development; although he started attending the program mainly because of his interest in golf, he is now in a position where he takes advantage of everything Pro Kids has to offer. Keep up the great work, Johnny!
Oceanside: Chloe
Chloe is a 7
th grader at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. She is dedicated to her education and works hard to achieve her goals. But, beyond her own hopes and dreams, Chloe is a helper. She is always willing to help tutor in the elementary room and she often goes out of her way to help around site, without being asked. More than once she has been the first Level 4 golfer to offer to take lower level members on the course during golf practice. She is supportive and encouraging and an all-around great role model for other Pro Kids members.
Chloe is also a committed member of the Girls Mentoring Committee, where she shows her bravery and humility by sharing her experiences and beliefs and also accepting the other members of the group with respect and kindness . She is also stepping up her golf game and has been invited to join this year’s Jr. League team!
It is Chloe’s integrity and reliability and so much more that have earned her the honor of being our March Member of the Month. Congratulations, you earned it!
