Golf Programming
On course golf instruction is coupled with a life skills curriculum designed by our nationally affiliated organization, The First Tee. This curriculum seamlessly integrates the instruction of life skills and core values into basic golf instruction.

Once kids have completed a series of classes and pass a written and playing ability test, they have access to Learning Center activities and resources. Children with Level 3 certification have access to Colina Park Golf Course and special Learning Center activities and field trips. Click here to learn more about the different levels.

End of the Month Tournament
Pro Kids Members Only! Like any men’s or ladies club, Pro Kids hosts monthly events for its junior members (Levels 2-7).  Formats vary each month but include: Stroke Play, Match Play Championships, Scramble and Best Ball. The Golf staff has gotten creative and come up with other fun formats like our Scotland Open, Trivia scramble and the Colina Country Club. The club also utilizes a handicap system that allows for tournaments with several flights of ability. This system allows players of every skill level to participate by placing them in groups that allow students to compete among juniors of similar ability. Not all of our tournaments are so serious, though. Some, like our Halloween Scramble, are just for fun! There, awards also go out to those with the best costumes, not just the lowest score. Members can sign up for the End of the Month Tournament at the front counter.

Youth on Course
This program allows our students to play and access Southern California executive and regulation courses at discounted rates. Pro Kids members that are par certified are matched with adult mentors or escorts to play local area courses. Tee times are arranged by our staff and are made available to students during school holidays and vacations. Birdie certified members may play any Youth on Course golf course unsupervised. Youth on Course is a program of the SCGA Foundation. Click here to learn more.
