Volunteers and Mentors
Volunteers are an invaluable part of the Pro Kids family. The commitment and dedication of our volunteers is essential to the success of our programs and allows us to continue providing free programming to inner-city youth. Volunteers work hand in hand with our staff to provide support and supervision in the Learning Center and on the golf course. Volunteers serve as chaperones, committee members, tutors, workshop facilitators, and more. The rewards of volunteering are tremendous. Dedicated and caring individuals are needed to work either in a group setting with Pro Kids members or one-on-one with college-age students attending schools both in the San Diego area as well as around the state. In both cases, mentors provide support, encouragement, and positive guidance while serving as role models for their mentee and other Pro Kids members.
